When does ArcheAge Chronicles release?

There is no release date: Steam lists "To be announced" as of October 21, 2026. The launch model is Early Access, expected to last about 9–12 months, with the full version adding regions, class gender options and a third weapon per class. Details are in the Early Access guide.

When is the demo, and what's in it?

The free demo is live October 19 at 10 AM PDT through October 26, 2026, worldwide with servers in North America East/West, Europe Central and Asia East/South. It offers roughly 2–3 hours of quests plus the hidden Throne of Hinnon dungeon and an early-unlocked PvP channel — see the demo guide and PvP unlock.

What platforms is it on?

• Steam lists Windows only, with full controller support.
• The official site's wishlist section also links to Epic Games, PlayStation and Xbox pages; no console release date or confirmation exists on Steam, so treat console plans as unofficial until XLGAMES announces them.
• No macOS or Linux listing exists on Steam.

How much does it cost, and is it pay-to-win?

No price has been announced. XLGAMES says the game is buy-to-play, will have no paid in-game store at Early Access launch, and will not sell pay-to-win items; optional purchases after Early Access would center on content, customization and convenience. Which languages are supported?

Steam lists English, Korean (full audio), Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. The demo supported the same four languages. Voice-over and facial animation were added after the first network test, per the producer's October 18 letter.

Does it need anti-cheat or extra agreements?

Yes. The Steam page notes the kernel-level anti-cheat XIGNCODE3 and requires agreement to a third-party EULA (the ArcheAge Chronicles EULA) before playing. If kernel-level software is a concern for you, that is part of the deal on Steam.
